As a way of monitoring your actions, consider asking God, "is my way pleasing to you?" If you are doing something that is not God's will, He will reveal it to you. Since God knows the end from the beginning, sometimes our own thoughts about what we should do will cut off God's best for us.

Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

Proverbs 15:26
The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, but those of the pure are pleasing to him.

I want to be in that place at all times where my ways are pleasing to the Lord. So, I challenge you today to ask yourself, "are my ways pleasing to the Lord?"
