Have you ever notice how many of the people at the top of an organization are very positive? Were they positive before they reached the top or did they get positive when they reached the top? Life has a definite process about it. You must first BE something before you will DO something and you must DO something before you can HAVE the results of that doing. If most of the people at the top are positive, doesn't it makes sense to incorporate positive thinking into your life? One of the best ways to change your thinking to a more positive mindset is through confession. As Romans 10:17 tells us, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." To change your life, you must change your thinking. The first step in changing your thinking is changing what you hear. You have control over what you hear. One of the most significant control points that you have is what comes out of your mouth. If you will fill your mouth with life-giving words, your life will have the power of those words. As Proverbs 18:21 states, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit." |

Is Holiness Holding You Back? |

for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." - 1 Peter 1:16 Are you living a holy life? If not, this disobedience may be holding you back from all that God has for you. You may think that it is not possible to be holy. If that is the case, why would God command us to be holy? You are right that you are unable to become holy by your own power. However, it is possible to reach the point in your life where you no longer sin, if you live by the Spirit. |

O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you. - 2 Chronicles 20:12 There is a hard lesson to learn for the believer - God expects us to look to him for direction. You can work 80 hours a week and even make over a $100K a year and still be in the bondage of debt. God will allow you to live in the world and under the world's system of money, which is by the sweat of your brow. After all, He has given us all free will. However, that is not His best for His children. He wants you, as His child, to live in His will. You know from Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan to prosper you. Wouldn't you like to find out that plan for your life? |

What is The Blessing? To keep fresh in your minds what The Blessing is, consider Genesis 27:28,29 when Isaac passed The Blessing that God gave to his father, Abraham, down to Jacob. 28 "May God give you of heaven's dew
and of earth's richness—
an abundance of grain and new wine. 29 May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.
Be lord over your brothers,
and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.
May those who curse you be cursed
and those who bless you be blessed."
Do you see how Jacob was to experience the earth's richness and abundance. Later in Jacob's story, you will see how he had acquired so much that he was able to separate into two groups when he was coming upon his brother Esau. Also, notice how people who blessed Jacob would also be blessed. |
